My sequential photos

When I saw sequential series created by Eadweard Muybridge which I put in my previous note in blog I thought that I want to try create something similar. I had the idea to make a series of photos of a dog that comes home from walk.

I think that for the first sequence photos in my life, they turned out quite well. I am pleased with the idea. If I could change something I will change a the perspective of this photos. I would prefer the photos to show only the path and the running of the dog. I know how to create sequential photos and I am planning doing it more often.

I used an application called: VSCO

I changed the light intensity a little but I wanted leave this photos natural.

  1. Great to see you have completed your practice piece. Well done. Please make sure you add reflection. Reflection is about thinking how the work is going and how you can improve it. Discuss what you learned from doing the task, what went well and what could be improved. You could also discuss the technical aspects of your work more in-depth. What settings did you use on your phone? What digital tools and techniques did you use?

Please make sure to create a further set of sequential images and think of an idea with a story or more depth. Include your idea development, research, technical process and outcome with reflection on your blog. A lot of the work of Elliot Erwitt, one of the photographers we discussed during the session, includes dogs. This could be a great starting point for your research and development of ideas.
