Testing a software- Canva with comparision to lucidpress

Today I am testing the Canva - the website that allows creating of many different things today infographics, brochures. I will check how I rate creating the article on this website. It will be easy? It has enough functions? Let me check:)

1. Firstly I like the quick functions of the signup and start working. It is rather common on websites that allow connecting automatically with our gmails, Facebook to download basic data allowing us to sign up the account. However, it is an advantage how quickly I am able to start creating after the sign up

2. As you can see the website includes many options of ready to edit templates. I have started from the beginning to search the templates for my article and to typical to my font magazine of the article. I like it diversity and many options 

3. For me the big advantage is the fact that after choosing the one template to create my magazine I can add in a really easy way new pages and search tempaltes to editing in the same style. It is not complicated and fastening the work.

4. As you can see on this video there are many options to adding what we want to edit page. I checked how easy will be add the video. I checked that is working without any problems but I added the video and put on the photo on my first page. When I wanted to delete the video I accidentionaly deleted the whole page. The website allows to undoing recent actions what is anyway important 

5. I also checked the editing of my own card, what options I have for adding text, background, photos. It also gets super fast and easy

6. All kinds of decorative lines and shapes can add an interesting look

7. I liked the option to add a picture frame

9. Finally I decided that the website offer me too many really good quality templates to not take advantage of it. I quickly have changed the photo of templates to check how it does works and of course, it is simply easy. 

I like this site and I think it works better than lucidpress

I want to compare quickly few things with lucidpress

1. Basically beginning of the website is in the same conditions: available options to connect sign up with data from Facebook or Gmail, after that we have the question in what purpose we want to create mainly the option to kind of tutorial. I am not quite sure if choosing different options as a business change anything. I don't think so but anyway I rate this kind of start on the website as positive. However, the disadvantage which I noticed is lack of question as in Canva: ,,what would you like to create? - it slowest the process of creating

2..  I assumed that Canva is the better place to create the magazine. Firstly in the Canva websites, we can see many free good templates, in the case of lucidpress from the beginning we have been encouraging to pay by the view of additional templates. The second thing is the fact that by adopting one of the free templates to the magazine we receiving all pages not one with the possibility of adding different templates one by one. I think that is a big disadvantage.

3. Next disadvantage, opposite by the fact that I have chosen the photo in different shape is fact that lucidpress not allowing to quickly and easy replacing the photos 

4. The next thing is lack of  templates on article- just few 

To summarize, everyone has a little different needs from the side. I expect a lot of choice in the free version, ease of changing items. Maybe some people have found lucidpress options that suit their needs and even think it's better than Canva. However, I prefer the first option to create my new project.
